May Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Hello, wanted to show you a card I made for Papertrey ink challenge. The Challange was to make something with flowers. Since my cousin's wife birthday was on the 19th . I would make a card for her and also do the blog hop. She is a very lovely woman, who has a great heart. When making this card, I wanted to use a card that was both delicate and beautiful. I really love daffodils. I also wanted it to be a simple card.
To see some amazing work. Check out Nicole's blog.

Mother's Day

Let me just say, Happy Mother's Day.

I know I am a couple of days late. But this weekend was a tough week. Between basketball tryout, first communions, Weddings and Dance recitals. I was worn out. I believe Mother's day is everyday. Our kids and family should recognize mom everyday and all the time. We do alot of work. I know for my mother's day, all I wanted to do was Sleep. On Sunday, Iwas busy at Church and making Chocolate roses for the wonderful Mom's and Grandmother for Mother's day. Seeing the ladies faces light up, getting a rose and candy from their kids at church, was a joy. I made 100 chocolate roses on friday, let me just tell you by number 80 I didn't wanted to see anymore roses. With the help from Bela, I was able to finish on time. Thanks Bela.

When making the chocolates, I used pink, yellow and red candy melts.
I loved the way it came out.
To make the tag, I used my gypsy and used the cartridge from Walk in my garden. Then used my 2.0 circle punch.
The stamp set was from My pink Stamper: happiest moments
Ink was Rasperry Fizz

Happy Birthday Mom, Make it Monday # 13 : Impression Plate Trick # 2

Hello,
First of all I wanted to say Happy Birthday Mom. My mom is a very special person to me. She is the person that made me the person I am today. She is full of love, kindness and strength. She is a disciplined woman who thought my brothers and I to be strong, confident and creative in life. This card I made for my wonderful Mom.

Papertrey ink has a Make it Monday challenge. So, since I love papertrey I wanted to try their challenge. The challenge is to use the Impression plate and the Dies together.I was a little hesitate, didn't want to damage the plates, but I tried it anyway.I loved how it turned out.
This is also the first time I made it a round card. I saw a good friend of mine do a round card and I wanted to try it myself. Thanks for the inspiration Papertrey.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Diana
