Happy Father's Day

Wanted to show this card I made for a co worker. She found out that I made handmade cards. So she asked me to make 2 cards, 1 Father's Day card and a Mother's Day card. I was like, you know mother's day is over, she told me it was for her husband mother that just came back into town. I really don't know this person very well, so it was hard to get a feel for this person, on what she liked. So, I just fiddle with some stuff and this is what I came up with.

Tomorrow I will put up the other card.

Supplies used;
Cardstock: PTI Aqua Mist. Gina K Navy Blue
Stamps: PTI: Masculine Motif,Woodgrain
Cuttlebug: Forest Embossing Folder
The technique I used was a sponging effect for the sky and grass.
I hope you have a fabulous night.

I am also putting this card in 3 challenges.

2nd grad card

Congrats Anna!!!
Today's post is on a great girl, who graduated from high school . She is a bright girl, who I hope will make her dreams come true in an 8 year program in medicine.

Graduating with honors and doing volunteer work is just the beginning. She does a lot for the community and is a well rounded person, who received the Silver Knight scholarship. Great job Anna. I am so happy for you, and I wish you all the best. Have fun in college and be the best you can be.

I love making this card, I used the PTI Stamp and embossed the image of the cap on the yellow and Terracotta paper. I just bought the spellbinder label 3 and cut it in the middle and use it on the sides of the card. I wanted to use the mat stack label 3 die. Stamped the image and made it image pop up. I really love the way this turned out.
Till Next time. Have a great day.

Grad cap/ Throwback Thursday Challenge

There is a challenge from My Creative time called Throwback Thursday. The challenge to make something use an cricut lite , or a old cartridge. Since Paper doll Dress up is a old cartridge and I just made this card, I decided to enter my card in. Check out her site to see some cool projects.

My mom had asked me to make a graduation card for my cousin's daughter. So of course, I couldn't refuse to make something for her, since I love to make different things. Her schools' colors were yellow black and red according to her gown. Trying to figure what I wanted to do was a challenge. Then I remembered from my cricut cartridges I had a graduation cap from Dress Up Paper Doll. I just enlarged it and fused it together using the Gypsy so it is a flip up card. I used my Papertrey ink number dies to make the 2011. The stickles to give the tassels some bling. I hope she liked it. The bottom of the cap I used the Star cuttlebug embossing folder and lightly sponged it with a darker yellow ink. Tomorrow I will show you the card I did for my cousin.
I hope you have a fabulous day and stay healthy.
Thanks for stopping by

A Guy's Card

Happy Saturday,

This Birthday Card was done for a male co worker of mine. He is a very creative person. It is hard form me to do a masculine card, because of the materials I have. I wanted to chose this design from Gina K Deigns since it looks very artistic. The colors I used was from PTI. The sponging effect was to give it a soft feel using Memento ink: London fog. The embossing folder is from Cutterbug: Forest branches. Have to get back to you on the colors I used with the copics. I also used the glitter pen to give a silver shimmer but of course my camera, you can't see it. One of these days I will get a nice camera. I used the spellbinder Label 13 to pop out of the card. Well, I hope he liked it.

Till next time. Have a Wonderful Day,

Diana
