Anniversary card

Happy Wednesday

Making this card is for a special person to me, she is what I call my second mom. When my mom was at work, she would take care of me when I was a little girl. I was actually her flower girl when she got married in India 35 years ago. Wow, besides being cousins, her daughter and me are like sisters. I love them both.
To make this card, I wanted to do something fairly simple. I found the cardstock from Joanna DCWV Lemon stack, combined it with PTI lemon Tart, Used the Simply Chartreuse card used the Spellbinder Parisian motif. I love this die cut. For an extra touch, I put liquid pearl around it.PTI stamp: Mixed Messages.
Have a wonderful day

Grad cap/ Throwback Thursday Challenge

There is a challenge from My Creative time called Throwback Thursday. The challenge to make something use an cricut lite , or a old cartridge. Since Paper doll Dress up is a old cartridge and I just made this card, I decided to enter my card in. Check out her site to see some cool projects.

My mom had asked me to make a graduation card for my cousin's daughter. So of course, I couldn't refuse to make something for her, since I love to make different things. Her schools' colors were yellow black and red according to her gown. Trying to figure what I wanted to do was a challenge. Then I remembered from my cricut cartridges I had a graduation cap from Dress Up Paper Doll. I just enlarged it and fused it together using the Gypsy so it is a flip up card. I used my Papertrey ink number dies to make the 2011. The stickles to give the tassels some bling. I hope she liked it. The bottom of the cap I used the Star cuttlebug embossing folder and lightly sponged it with a darker yellow ink. Tomorrow I will show you the card I did for my cousin.
I hope you have a fabulous day and stay healthy.
Thanks for stopping by

A Guy's Card

Happy Saturday,

This Birthday Card was done for a male co worker of mine. He is a very creative person. It is hard form me to do a masculine card, because of the materials I have. I wanted to chose this design from Gina K Deigns since it looks very artistic. The colors I used was from PTI. The sponging effect was to give it a soft feel using Memento ink: London fog. The embossing folder is from Cutterbug: Forest branches. Have to get back to you on the colors I used with the copics. I also used the glitter pen to give a silver shimmer but of course my camera, you can't see it. One of these days I will get a nice camera. I used the spellbinder Label 13 to pop out of the card. Well, I hope he liked it.

Till next time. Have a Wonderful Day,
